| Venue of Conference: This International Conference will be held at the 1,000 seat Ramakrishna Mission Hall in Colombo, Sri Lanka, February 8 - 10, 2008 and in Kataragama, Sri Lanka February 11 - 12, 2008. Pilgrimage to Kataragama (part of Conference package): The Conference will be followed by a Spiritual Pilgrimage to Kataragama, the holy city where Buddhists, Moslems and Hindus co-exist peacefully while worshipping the same universal deity. Purpose of the Conference: 1. To promote world peace and understanding by revealing that many religions are linked like beads on a necklace through their common association with this universal deity. 2. To bring together representatives from religious traditions on Sri Lanka and around the world that have within their traditions the universal deity known variously as Skanda, Murugan, Sanat Kumara, Al-Khadir, Melchizedek, Melek Taus, Masaw, St. George, etc.. The conference will reveal that this deity is a link that unites many diverse religious traditions and, in some cases, is also their ancient founder. 3. To establish Sri Lanka, the Moslem’s Garden of Eden, as the common origin and cradle of many religious traditions. 4. To establish the holy city of this universal deity, Kataragama on Sri Lanka, as a universal holy shrine. Who is this Universal Deity? 1. He is Skanda/Murugan in the Hindu religion. 2. He is Al-Khadir, the “Green Man” and “Initiator” of the Moslems. 3. He is King Melchizedek of the Jews 4. He is St. George of the Knights Templar. 5. He is Melek Taus, the “Peacock Angel,” of the Yezidi of Iraq. 6. He is Dionysus of the Greeks. 7. He is Osiris of the Egyptians. 8. He is Enki of the Sumerians 9. He is Mithras of the Persians. 10. He is the Green Man of the Pagans. 11. He is Quetzlcoatl, the “Plumed Serpent” of Central America tribes. 12. He is Sanat Kumara of the Ascended Masters tradition.. 13. He is the Planetary Logos of Theosophy. 14. He is King of the World of some Buddhist sects. 15. He is Masaw, King of the Fourth World, of the Hopi Indians of North America. 16. He is Jnana Pandita, the “Instructor of Gnosis,” of the Gnostics. 17. He is the World Savior and Guru of the Yogis. For Conference Attendees coming from places other than Sri Lanka: We have put together a conference and pilgrimage package in association with Body Mind Spirit Journeys (A Division of RMC Travel) which includes: 1) Conference Fee 2) 4 nights hotel accommodations at hotel on the beach in Colombo (double or single occupancy) 3) 2 nights at a hotel in Kataragama, with daily breakfast 4) Transportation to/from the Conference daily 5) Transportation to/from Kataragama 6) Participate in pufas to the Universal Diety at Kataragama Hosted by Mark Amaru Pinkham, Conference Organizer & Speaker Budget for the Conference: Sri Lanka is a very poor island that is still recovering from the last tsunami. We will offer a limited number of seats for the locals who will attend; thus we will not be able to meet our funding needs through the attendance of these people. Also, the funds that will be donated from those traveling with us from North America, South America, Europe, Africa and Australia through Body Mind Spirit Journeys will not cover all expenses. Therefore we are seeking to raise a total of $20,000 to cover these and other expenses listed below. 1. Transportation and housing for Speakers who live on Sri Lanka 2. Transportation and housing for Speakers from distant Asian and western countries 3. Rental fees for the venue space 4. Video production of the event 5. Promotion of the event If
